32. Johannes (John) C. BECK was born on Jan 6 1761 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He moved with his family in 1768 to Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). He served in the military in 1778 in American Revolution. During the American Revolution John Beck was seventeen years of age when he joined and served tours of duty in the militia under Capt. Peter Hedrick. John Beck fought in numerous engagements with British and Tories. His pension narrative tends to prove that Capt. Hedrick was under orders from Gen. Griffith Rutherford. The American Colonists gained control of North Carolina soon after the battle at Guilford Court House in 1781. He signed a will on Jun 8 1840 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). He died on Nov 15 1843 in Becks UCC, Davidson County, North Carolina. He was buried in North Carolina. Tombstone Records show both John C. Beck and his wife, Catherine Null Beck are buried  He was married to Catherine NULL in 1780 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.).

33. Catherine NULL was born in 1761 in Unknown. She died in 1829 in Pbly Davidson Co., North Carolina. Children were:

i. John Jr. BECK was born in 1781 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). He died in 1860.
ii. Jacob BECK was born in 1784 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). He died between 1860 and 1870 in Becks UCC, Davidson County, North Carolina.
iii. Elizabeth BECK was born in 1785 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). She died on Feb 2 1849 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.).
iv. Frederick H. BECK was born on Dec 25 1786 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). He died on Apr 18 1848 in Pbly Davidson Co., North Carolina.
v. Catherine BECK was born on Feb 1 1789 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). She died on Jul 1 1872 in Becks UCC, Davidson County, North Carolina.
vi. George BECK was born in 1790 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). He died in 1846 in Pike County, Indiana.

ix. Margaret BECK was born in 1796 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). She died Unk.
x. Christian BECK was born on Feb 15 1798 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). He died on Apr 3 1884 in Becks UCC, Davidson County, North Carolina.
xi. Daniel BECK was born in 1800. He died on Dec 2 1874 in Stewart Cemetery, Madison Township, Pike County, Indiana.
xii. Lavisa "Lucy" BECK was born on Apr 12 1806 in Rowan County, North Carolina (now Davidson Co.). She died in 1880.
