14. Oscar Clayton WOODLIFF was born on Jun 16 1867 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was married to Lucy Violet DAYTON on Dec 24 1891 in West, Texas.  He died on Dec 5 1901 in Waco, Texas. He died during a flu epidemic. He was aware he was dying and tried to get Lucy to promise she would marry again. He was afraid for her since she had 3 children to raise.

15. Lucy Violet DAYTON was born on Aug 21 1873 in Blue Earth City, Minnesota. She died on Jan 31 1961 in Alice, Texas. Children were:

i. William Clyde WOODLIFF was born on Aug 20 1892 in Waco, Texas. He died on Dec 12 1971 in Waco, Texas.
ii. Oscar Clayton WOODLIFF Jr. was born on Jan 10 1895 in Waco, Texas. He died on Jul 10 1897 in Waco, Texas.
iii. Mamie Alvis WOODLIFF was born on Apr 3 1897. She died on Jan 16 1977 in Omaha, Nebraska.
